Here's the first (of many I am sure) posts about the pool. For all you newbies, it is highly recommended reading.
(The pool above is for representation purposes only. Mine is better.)
Pool officially opened a week ago, with the 'sinking of the ladder'! Been cool and rainy, so we get a lot of green stuff in the pool, which I diligently vacuum whenever possible. The water looks crystal clear, so we are ahead of the game. Busy baseball week, but I got some facetime this morning and I can get a couple of hours tomorrow, so we are in bid-ness (as the street lingo goes)!
Now the bad news - need a new pump motor. Problem is I have little to no time to get one, so it will have to wait until later next week. Current motor is loud but cranking, so I'm good for now.
And now for the reason I will have time next weekend (which is Memorial Day W/E) - my 10U Blue Devils were scheduled for a M.D. baseball tourney in a neighboring town. But those guys had to cancel since they couldn't get enough teams (4). Losers. That's what happens when you don't market your product. Lesson over.
