Monday, the official day. Happy Memorial Day and let's not forget those who sacrificed their lives for the rest of us.
Anyhoo, finally got my new pool filter pump on Friday and replaced it Saturday. I guess I didn't realize how loud the other one had gotten, since I have to check and see if this one is actually on every now and then. We're humming along. And the kids and their friends were in the pool yesterday after the local parade so they stirred up the bottom and now we are 100% again. Pool nirvana.
Long weekend of no baseball, I think this is the last time that will happen. On the one hand, it's good for the boys to get a break, on the other, they might go flat and lose their sharpness. We don't play again until next Sunday (and even our rec team has no games this week!), so I need to get a couple of practices in to make sure we are ready. We need to win our last two games and try to get a 1 or 2 seeding for the playoffs. After that Summer league begins. Counting down...
