Absent of anything else to blog about (bailing out the big 3 is still on the back-burner) - time for a movie review!
Like Baseball? If you are like me, you watch all the Baseball movies. Cobb, Bull Durham, Eight Men Out, The Sandlot (and sequels), Bad News Bears (and sequels and remakes), etc. - just like 'em. So how about one (newer) flick you may or may not know about?
The Final Season - a true story about the Norway (Iowa) Tigers. A HS Baseball dynasty, from the tiny town of Norway which got swallowed up by a larger school in the 1991.
Starring Sean (Rudy) Astin, Powers Boothe and a lot of other folks, it's a really great story about a team that is playing it's final season (hence the name!) - and the back story about a town that has a love of the teams that represent the town. So what happens? Watch it and find out. Great Baseball Movie!
