Nightmares

In case you haven't noticed, Freddy Krueger will be back with a remake of a Nightmare on Elm Street.

Speaking of Nightmares, how about these:

Mets are now 2-5 in the early going with no signs of life.

John Maine gave up 8 (not a typo) runs in 3 (not a type again) innings of work.

Our first baseman is hitting .133 (!) with an OBP of .188. He bats clean-up most nights.

Our catcher is hitting .208 with an OBP of .192. Now that is tough to accomplish.

Ollie P. has only lost one game so far. Then again he's only pitched in one. Got an ERA of 6.35 to show for it.

Our manager thinks it's all gonna be OK. Right.
