Remember that little song you sung when you were in elementary school? It's the song I'm singing today. Here in the great state of New Jersey (aka Weird NJ!), more specifically North Jersey, we have a lot of rain coming. Coupled with the saturated ground from melting snow and more rain last week, and it looks like some flooding is coming. If you've never been through it, you have no idea how devastating it can be. I'm lucky, I only get residual water from the ground up, but some of my townsfolk live by a raging river. Good luck to all.
While I mentioned the whole North Jersey thing - if you don't know, Jersey is basically two regions - North and South Jersey. I joke with most that the dividing line is Rt. 22 - a stretch of very intense road. Some folks in that area call where they live 'Central Jersey', but they are basically suffering from an identity crisis.
Anyway, how to sum up the two regions - watch the "Pine Barrens" episode of The Sopranos. In this stellar episode, Paulie Walnuts and Christopher are lost when they have some of the funniest exchanges ever (but only if you live in NJ) - watch this compilation here:
