Got my basketball schedules for travel teams this morning. The next four months kind of look like this:


But keep in mind it doesn't include the in-town team my 10 year old will play on, nor reflect that we start winter training on Fridays for baseball beginning January 7.

Time is a state of mind I guess.

Decision

Looks like the newly appointed college of cardinals, errr, I mean Mets management have made their choice. All reports say Terry Collins is the new manager. Yay.

Look, they can pick whoever they want, but if the choice came down to somebody who has MLB managerial experience, give me a break. This guy last managed in the century before the one we are in now. We might as well have dug up Billy Martin. And how exactly does somebody get that experience if they never get a chance.

Anyway, now it's that time of year again; the time of year where the Mets disappoint their fans by sitting on their hands and do nothing. We'll be running out Ollie P. and Luis on Opening Day 2011.
